DONE!

Put the wheels on I'm happy got a cool grip tape design got some pink on it as well and I'm going to ride it tomorrow and get some more pictures. I might even try and get a video of me on the board if i have time so comment and keep blogging peeps. If you wanted to know this board is basically the exact same size as the other board but just different grip tape style and the back and front wheels are slightly moved a little because I felt like it but you would probably not notice the difference.

finished finishing

I have completely finished varnishing my long board and I am so happy to get it done but I'm annoyed though that the first board I made broke it sucked but I'm over it and have continued to make another.

the only thing I must do now is to put the wheel in the center of the board on both sides and I'm finished I want to finish it this afternoon if I get time so I can use it tomorrow when i go to my workplace in Fremantle.
Also I will try and get some picture of me on my new board YEH!!!

Working on new board!

Once again I have now brushed the 2 nd layer of varnish on the the new and improved board and then only need to put one more layer of varnish on and then I can apply grip tape and put on the wheels.

be able to finish the board by Thursday or Friday depending on if i have enough time between football and school work because it gets too dark outside and i cant be bothered finishing it at night time, but what I'm saying is probably a complete waste of time because i just want to get enough words on the post.

the new board

OK Ive got a new bit of board and It has got better stronger and more reliable wood I have gone to bunnings and bought one sheet of 19 mm plywood and Ive glued that to as bit of teak like the old board but it has the Marine plywood which is really strong.

So Ive glued the two bits together and Ive sanded and shaped the board all over again and i just need to put a few more coats of vanish to give the board the same shine as the over one originally had, then I'm finished and i just put the wheels back on.

I will blog again once i have finished off this new and improvement board from the old one.....

i BROKED IT!

OK so I finished one board and I took it down a few hills then I went for a skate at night after dinner and then tried out how it would go with some tricks and then it snapped at the tail just in front of the trucks i then knew thats was bound too happen eventually but i ha vent given up and Ive made a new decks which now is glued so i should have finished by this week yeah. ill bring up some pics of the broken board

YES I have finished one board I know I should probably finish of the other two I said I was going to make but who cares because I have made one and seriously it took a while but I did and it looks pretty sick I took it for a quick test drive just a moment ago and it turns so sharp it was dark lol but tomorrow I'm going for a skated and see how well it is around places and down hills. pics are here of it finished.

finishing the decks

finishing up the decks for my long boards now and its going pretty good I got some ill bring up on my blog soon but I cant get them up at the moment.

Ive put 2 coats of varnish on one deck which is the I decided to finish first so I'm putting the second layer on and then in 1 day time I can put the grip tape and wheels on.

THIS IS GOING TO BE THE BEST THING EVER SINCE THE LAST TIME I DECIDED I WAS GOING TO MAKE SOMETHING!
